It is officially Homecoming Week at Pewamo-Westphalia High School! The week is filled with school spirit, themed dress-up days, athletic events, and plenty of opportunities for Pirate Nation to come together and celebrate.
Presenting the 2026 Homecoming Court
A central part of the tradition is honoring the students selected to represent their school. This year’s Homecoming Court includes Caleb Blyth, Charly George, John Kowatch, Hayden Smith, Will Thelen, Renell Eklund, Brynn Feldpausch, Jenna Keilen, Delaney Smith, and Reylee Thelen.
P-W is also recognizing class representatives from each grade:
Seniors: Daniel Bernal-Ponce, Brody Smith, Madeline George, and Kynlee Miller
Juniors: Dominic Lewis, Jackson Smith, Julia Paxton, and Regan Kowatch
Sophomores: Brandon Theis, Ethan Pohl, Aria Schrauben, and Katelyn Hagen
Freshmen: Hayden Colley, Houghten Weber, Lydia Hengesbach, and Molly Miller

Action-Packed Slate of Pirate Athletics
Homecoming Week brings a full schedule of athletic events, showcasing the hard work of our student-athletes across multiple sports. The week kicks off on the road:
Wednesday, September 16: Volleyball travels to St. Patrick’s.
Thursday, September 17: Girls Golf heads to Wheatfield Valley.
Thursday Night: The JV Football team travels to Mason High School.
Then on Friday, September 18, the spotlight turns to the P-W football field as the 3-0 Varsity Pirates host Bath for the big Homecoming game. With the Pirates off to an undefeated start, Friday night promises to be a special Homecoming celebration for players, students, alumni, families, and the entire P-W community.
Community Festivities
The excitement goes beyond the school walls. The week caps off with the St. Mary Parish Family Fest running from Friday through Saturday. It is the perfect way to wrap up the celebrations, featuring plenty of fun, food, and activities planned for all ages.
